Privacy Policy

What we collect

Account data. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We use them to identify your account and to contact you about it.

What you create.The topics you analyse, the reports generated for them, and any reports or opportunities you save or star. Reports are stored so they can be revisited and linked to, and are publicly viewable by URL. Don't put anything confidential into a topic.

Usage counts. A per-month tally of analyses against your account, so we can apply plan limits.

Subscription status. Your plan, and the identifiers our payment provider gives us for your subscription and customer record.

Analytics. Aggregate page-view and performance data, used to understand which pages are useful.

What we never collect

We never see or store your card number, CVV, or bank details. Payment is taken on our provider's own hosted checkout, and they act as Merchant of Record — we only receive a confirmation that a subscription is active. We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone, and we don't use it to train AI models.

Who we share it with

Only the services needed to run Creator Gap: Google for sign-in; our payment provider for billing and tax; Google's Gemini API to generate analysis and scripts (the topic and transcript text we send it); the YouTube Data API to look up public videos; Upstash Redis for storage; and Vercel for hosting and analytics. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account exists. Generated reports are kept indefinitely so their links keep working. Usage counters expire after the month they cover. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete your account and its saved data — email us and we will action it within 30 days. You can cancel Pro at any time from the customer portal without deleting your account. Note that deleting your account does not automatically unpublish reports that already have public URLs; tell us which ones to remove and we will.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in — it's required for the site to work. Analytics is aggregate and does not build an advertising profile of you. We run no advertising trackers.

Security and transfers

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and held by the providers listed above, whose servers may be outside India. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep access to production data limited and secrets out of source control.

Children

Creator Gap isn't intended for children, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
